Born in Portugal, Telmo moved to Germany in 1974 with his parents. After school he started as a singer and actor in different kind of music and theatre productions. In 1998 he published his first album: "chansons fado lieder".
In 2001 the next album followed: "canto". In "canto" he worked with the famous flamenco-star-guitar-player Rafael Cortes. The whole "canto" tour was under the patronage of the portugese culture institute and the embassy.
Afterwards he recorded an audiobook and played in a fado ballet in Gera. In summer 2008 he started working with Maria Baptist, a famous German jazz-piano-player. The album "SINAL" came out on 3rd of April in Germany and Austria.
