About us
F-Cat Productions GmbH was founded by Frank Abraham in March 2006.
F-Cat operates in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as an agent and tour promoter for artists, most of which are active in the genre of world music, reggae, jazz and rock. Furthermore, F-Cat acts as a European agent for many artists, and for some as their worldwide agent. Our artist roster includes, among others, renown artists such as Angelique Kidjo, Bajofondo Tango Club, Goran Bregovic, Khaled and Salif Keita.
As a booking agency, F-Cat is closely connected with many festivals, venues, and promoters in Europe as well as all over the world which regularly present World music and other musical genres. In Germany, F-Cat furthermore offers the complete organization and management of tours on a highly professional level, as well as the development and coordination of marketing strategies with the artists' managements and labels.
F-Cat is always open for new and promising cooperations in World Music as well as in jazz, pop, or reggae.
Since 1993, Frank Abraham was the manager of the touring and booking agency "transatlantico" (www.transatlantico.com) and made his mark for establishing new stars in the genre of world music, in particular Brazilian music. As a local promoter, mostly in and around Berlin, he organized festivals, concerts and other events. There he presented well-known artists such as Youssou N´Dour, Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Cassandra Wilson, Jazzkantine, Ruben Gonzales & Ibrahim Ferrer, Al Jarreau, Manu Chao, and Toto, to name a few.
The numerous good contacts Frank Abraham made in all those years in the business now form a base for F-Cat's continuing efforts in the live music business to bring the "borderless" joy of world music to growing audiences in Europe and all around the world.
