New Artists - New Roster
We are proud to present three wonderful new artists on our Jazz Roster – the Elina Duni Quartet, Hamilton de Holanda and Eliane Elias.
The young singer Elina Duni, who stands for very impressive modern Jazz, is now represented by F-cat on all over the planet.
As the shooting star of the Swiss Jazz community the Albanian-born Elina and her great co-musicians are capturing all the big European festival stages. Meanwhile the band successfully gave a lot of concerts in many clubs in Switzerland and abroad.
We are looking forward to her debut album which will be released on EMC in October 2012 as well as the corresponding presentation tour. To get an insight of her great proficiency just watch the extract of her amazing show at the Cosmo Jazz Festival.
The successful Brazilian Jazz artist Hamilton de Holanda, called “Jimi Hendrix of mandolin” by the American press, impresses people from all over the world.
It does not matter to him whether people call his music Jazz, Samba, Rock’n’roll, Pop Music, Bluegrass or Choro - the only thing that counts to him is the freedom and the beauty of his creations.
We also recently signed the wonderful Brazilian singer and pianist Eliane Elias as European agent.
Eliane first became famous in the US as a member of “Steps Ahead”. As a solo artist the gifted pianist was nominated for a Grammy several times.
The feedback of her Album “Light My Fire” released in 2011 was stunning as well as her concerts which were sold out. Also the cast of her quartet is an excellent composition of musicians: Marc Johnson (b), Rubens de la Corte (git), Raphael Barata (dr).
